International Chorister Day:
Be a chorister for the day – St David’s Cathedral, Hobart
Come along to St David’s Cathedral for a choral experience as we rehearse and then sing a service of Choral Evensong. The rehearsal begins at 3pm as we rehearse together the music for Evensong with support in each voice part from our regular Cathedral choristers and all under the direction of our conductor Thomas Rimes. We will be accompanied on the organ by Rod Thomson and Peter Warren. Evensong will be held at 5:30pm. Everyone is welcome, please indicate your voice type (soprano, alto, tenor, bass) when you sign up. Music can be collected in advance for those who wish to do some private practice before the day.
