This session will give you guidance and fresh insights in the use of harmony in choral compositions.
Alexander L’Estrange – is a British choral composer, arranger, workshop leader and jazz pianist and double bassist. A classical training, first as a chorister in the choir of New College, Oxford, and later as a Music undergraduate of Oxford University, coupled with his vast experience as a jazz musician is evident in his compositional style.
In conversation with RSCM Director, Hugh Morris, Alexander, known as the 'added 9th of contemporary choral music', will guide you through techniques to improve your compositional technique in a fun and upbeat way.
