RSCM Membership Conference – It’s not too late to book…
With a good number of places booked already, don’t miss out on attending our first ever Membership Conference.
All the senior RSCM teaching staff will be present, as well as special guests Noël Tredinnick (recently retired from All Souls, Langham Place) and Revd Dr Sam Wells (St Martin-in-the-Fields), together with some of his musicians.
You don’t have to be a Musical Director or an organist to attend. There is so much on offer for congregants, choir members, worship leaders as well as team musicians.
Location: Derby High School
Date: 7 March 2020
Time: Registration from 10:00am (finishes 4.00pm)
The event will be packed full of inspiring, useful and relevant talks, hands-on coaching sessions including choral conducting and organ playing, and workshops including:
- Making arrangements and scoring music for your church musicians
- Resourcing non-musically equipped churches
- Improving relationships between musicians and clergy
- Growing the number of singers and musicians in your church
- Using Voice for Life to increase musicianship and celebrate your choristers’ achievements
This is the first time we have run a conference exclusively for our members (Friends, Students, Individual members or whether part of an Affiliated member church – that includes the congregation as well) and provides a fantastic opportunity to network, meet like-minded people, share ideas and learn new hints and tips from a panel of experts. The venue has excellent facilities, is easy to access by road and we will be offering a free shuttle bus from Derby train station to the venue.
