What does the Regional Panel do?
The Regional Panel (probably 8 – 14 people spread around the region representatively)
1. decides the year’s programme for the whole Region under the oversight of the Volunteer Team Leader.
2. ensures that the programme delivers RSCM Education in all three streams (choral, instrumental and congregational, and ministerial and worship leaders).
3. celebrates music in worship through arranging festivals and other events.
4. raises realistic income to offset the real costs of delivery.
5. increases RSCM membership by active recruitment and expanded offering in 1 – 3 above.
6. leads and organises local volunteers to support 2, 3, 4, and 5 according to local people’s own availability and willingness to work – as selected from the enclosed Volunteering preferences form.
