RSCM Skill-based Volunteer
This might, for example, include musical support or direction for an event, or providing particular skills on a consulting-type basis.
Reports to:
Voluntary Team Leader (VTL), and individual Event Organisers.
Duties:
To help and support the RSCM Regional Panel and the VTL, in practical delivery of RSCM’s work.
Responsibilities:
The Local RSCM Volunteer will be expected to:
• Read the relevant event task guidance and parameters, as allocated by
an event leader or organiser.
• Complete allocated tasks within an agreed time-frame.
You should not:
• Make payments.
• Undertake any supervision of under 18s at events or exams.
The RSCM will provide:
• The relevant guide for the task/s.
• Phone support from the VTL or Regional Panel Member overseeing
your task.
• Phone support from the RSCM office about any procedures or process worries.
• Simple log-in to the RSCM intranet and access to all volunteer resources.
• An opportunity to participate in a Regional conference with locally
relevant topics/news.
