A new partnership for the RSCM

The Royal School of Church Music (RSCM) and Sing for Pleasure (SfP) are delighted to announce a new partnership which will offer additional benefits to members of both organisations. RSCM members will enjoy discounted access to Sing for Pleasure’s widely respected conductor training courses; Sing for Pleasure’s members will receive discounted access to selected RSCM events, and on materials from the Voice for Life choral training scheme.

RSCM and SfP members will receive a 10% discount off many items in each of the organisations’ online shops.

RSCM’s Director, Hugh Morris, said: ‘I am pleased that we are able to further enhance our member benefits with this new offer. The systematic, structured training which Sing for Pleasure offers is absolutely in line with one of our strategic priorities of supporting music leadership as a practical way of enabling the flourishing of church music; and we look forward to working with them’

Sing for Pleasure’s CEO, Paul Cutts, said: ‘The RSCM and Sing for Pleasure are among the UK’s longest-established choral music charities. This new partnership in SfP’s 60th anniversary year of 2024 will give RSCM members discounted access to Sing for Pleasure’s highly regarded conductor and vocal training programmes while SfP members will benefit from RSCM’s outstanding resources. Together we can build a stronger choral music sector.’

RSCM also intends to offer new, bespoke, weekend training courses using Sing for Pleasure materials and courses during 2024.
