We were delighted to welcome this year’s honorands, over 100 singers and other guests to our annual Celebration Day event which took place last Saturday. We were also pleased to welcome the High Sheriff of Cheshire, Dr Dennis Dunn MBE JP DL.

Led by Tansy Castledine, Director of Music at Peterborough Cathedral, and accompanied by Philip Rushforth of Chester Cathedral, the singers and congregation raised the roof in praise singing music drawn from the RSCM’s Publication Come & Sing Evensong!

We were pleased to award our Honorary Award recipients with their certificates and also presented two Silver Voice for Life Awards.

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us on the day and the team at Chester Cathedral.
