Delegates from across the UK and indeed the world gathered online last Saturday for the RSCM Church Music Conference. The tone for the day was set by the Very Revd Stephen Hance, the Church of England’s National Lead for Evangelism and Witness, who spoke powerfully about music’s potential to enrich and invigorate our churches. The day continued with a range of similarly inspiring, high-quality sessions from RSCM tutors, who between them covered a fantastic range of musical and theological topics. The day also included a lunchtime concert and a closing act of worship, and some of those who attended enjoyed the day so much that they’ve already been in touch to ask, ‘When’s the next one?’ If you weren’t able to join us this year, keep your eye out for news of future conferences and make sure you don’t miss out next time round!
