Music for Mission and Ministry:

Music for Mission and Ministry Lite (online)

This is a condensed version of the full Music for Mission and Ministry course, covering its core material in a single-day format, including the challenges posed by Covid-19.

The programme includes four main sessions:

  • The role of music in Christian worship
  • Dilemmas facing church worship and music today
  • Parish management – how to cope with or without musicians
  • Wise choices of resources

The course aims

  • to inspire your worship in fresh ways
  • to deepen your knowledge and understanding
  • to equip you for the future
  • to introduce you to new resources

The course is held in an attitude of worship and prayer. We will worship together online but also signpost participants to examples of worship in a breadth of traditions and styles to prompt reflection and discussion. Towards the end of the day, there will be an open forum for further discussion of any relevant issues.

Come along to be encouraged and enthused.
