St Mary’s Plumtree – Come and Sing Choral Evensong

Come and sing evensong for everyone. This event is for anybody who would like to sing a full Choral evensong, especially aimed at smaller choirs where evensong is no longer sung or where the choirs have become too small to sing this sort of service, but all singers and congregation are welcome.
The music will be straightforward with a psalm and canticles sung to chants, two anthems, responses using ferial setting and three hymns. We gather at 15:30 to start rehearsal at 16:00, break for tea at 17:00 and sing the service at 18:00. Congregational members are most welcome as well as singers.
