‘What a fantastically varied couple of days’. Just one of the huge number of positive comments from delegates following the first Festival of Faith and Music which took place in York this weekend. The RSCM was delighted to be working in partnership with the Church Times. Highlights included an engaging keynote address from the Archbishop of York, a whole range of panel discussions, and the opportunity to sing in the Minster. Renowned singers James Gilchrist and Hannah Davey’s performance ‘In the Stillness’ in the Minster’s lady chapel, leading to late evening Compline, was a particularly memorable occasion for everyone present.
