In the glorious afternoon sunshine this past Sunday, a fantastic group of children from a school participating in the Hymnpact! Pathway Project sang their hearts out showcasing Hymnpact! to the enthusiastic crowd gathered in the Cathedral Close at Salisbury to celebrate the visit of the Archbishop of Canterbury to the diocese. The children from Motcombe Primary School, led superbly by Hymnpact! Outreach Provider Olivia Sparkhall sang three original Hymnpact! songs: ‘A New Day has begun’ and ‘Praise God from whom all blessing flow’ before the service and gave a fantastic rendition of ‘We are the Light’ during the service, receiving rapturous applause. They had a wonderful time experiencing this fantastic opportunity to perform and enjoyed posing for a photo with the Archbishop.
