Business Development Officer

The RSCM is on a mission to enable the flourishing of church music, and in particular to get children singing.

Do you have a proven track record of selling? Are you an excellent communicator, a self-starter motivated by the success of reaching a sales target? Could you be our new Business Development Officer?

Working across the whole charity, you will work to sell existing products, courses and events, as well as membership subscriptions. With a passion for the power of singing and music, you will persuade musicians, teachers and members of church communities of the value of RSCM’s offerings. You will build and leverage a network of advocates to help spread the word, accelerating take-up and growing the RSCM’s reach in churches and schools.

Hymnpact! Project Officer

The RSCM is looking for a Project Officer for Hymnpact!®, our exciting project providing high quality, flexible hymn resources to schools and churches.

This new role (1.0FTE; 1.5 years) is focused on providing administrative support to facilitate the delivery of the second phase of the project: to create and test a pragmatic approach for using Hymnpact! to grow the discipleship of children and their families or carers. We are currently working with partner schools and churches in pilot dioceses to gather real-life data and experiences to help form our conclusions.

You will be able to work efficiently under your own initiative and communicate effectively with a range of stakeholders and partners, including school, church and diocesan staff. You will be confident in collecting and reporting data, and able to prioritise your work to best achieve the project outcomes.

The post is advertised as 1.0FTE but we are open to exploring other working patterns with appropriate candidates, including a condensed working week and/or a job share.

Applications for this post will remain open until appointed. Therefore, early application is recommended.
