Hugh spent Thursday and Friday last week in the Netherlands following some connections made last year. As well as attending Choral Evensong at Janskerk in Utrecht, Hugh attended a symposium there and also gave a presentation at the Rotterdam Conservatory of Music. Focussing on the role and future of music in churches great and small, he spoke to enthusiastic and engaged people about the breadth of musical experiences and ways of capturing the interest of young singers.
