A new Education Programmes Manager

A very warm welcome to Dr Samuel Teague who joins the RSCM staff team as Education Programmes Manager.

Sam oversees the day-to-day delivery of the RSCM’s education portfolio. He is an accomplished church musician, educator, administrator, and early-music scholar, holding a master’s degree and doctorate from The Queen’s College, University of Oxford where his work focused on music in Civil War, Commonwealth, and Restoration England. Sam holds a Diploma from the ABRSM, is an Associate Fellow of both the Higher Education Academy and of the Royal Historical Society. He is Chair of the National Early Music Association (having formerly edited their journal, Early Music Performance & Research) and is also a member of the Royal Society of Musicians, the Independent Society of Musicians, and the Church Music Society.
