Applications are now open for our Emerging Leaders programme for aspiring choral directors. Being an Emerging Leader is a brilliant opportunity to benefit both from expert input and to connect with other musicians at a similar stage who are working and studying in a variety of contexts. The programme includes online discussions and seminars on a variety of topics, as well as opportunities (for a smaller number) to develop your skills in the immersive environment of a residential course. The closing date for applications is Tuesday 25 March.

One of our current Emerging Leaders said “[The residential course] was truly invaluable. It has helped demystify the process of working with younger singers and how you can create amazing vocal performances in a comprehensive and efficient way. I would love to complete a Choral Conducting Masters at some point in the near future, and found this a great stepping stone in working at a higher musical level. I will take this experience with me, especially things like vocal technique production, expression and personal conducting gesture.”
