Choral Evensong for Lewes, Seaford and nearby parishes at St Mary's Ringmer

An open invitation for singers from surrounding East Sussex parishes to join together in a Choral Evensong (BCP). Following our enjoyable and uplifting event last year we will start with a rehearsal of the music (Sumsion in A Service, Hymns, including one as an anthem all with words by Timothy Dudley Smith (1946 – 2024)). We will break for a delicious light tea before the service.
Music will be provided in advance, with the deadline of 11 June to register to take part. Singers are expected to familiarise themselves with the music before the event and are welcome to join St Mary's choir on the preceding three Fridays (13, 20 and 27 June) 19:00-20:00 to cover the music, if they wish. Parking is available by the church and nearby in the village.
