RSCM Festival Service, St Paul’s Cathedral 2026

This special event is an opportunity to rehearse for and sing Choral Evensong under the dome of St Paul’s Cathedral, celebrating the joy of church music and the work of the RSCM together. Singers will be directed by Andrew Carwood, Director of Music at St Paul’s.

Recipients of the RSCM Gold Award (since January 2025) are also invited to have their award presented during the service should they wish.

Please note, all under-18s must be accompanied by a parent, guardian, or designated group leader (if attending as part of a parish choir group) for the duration of the event. Accompanying adults will have designated seating for the event to enable this.

Choral Evensong Repertoire:
Introit: Peace I leave with you – Amy Beach
Preces & Responses: Joanna Forbes L’Estrange
Psalm 47
Canticles: Charles Wood in D
Anthem: Vox Christi – Philip Wilby

All event participants are provided with a booklet containing scores for all the service repertoire on the day (included in the event fee). Choir leaders wishing to obtain these scores in advance of the event should contact the RSCM on education@rscm.com.
