RSCM Festival Service, St Paul’s Cathedral

This year’s Choral Festival welcomes all singers who would relish an opportunity to sing wonderful sacred music under the dome in St Paul’s Cathedral. The singers will be directed by Andrew Carwood, and Hugh Morris, Director of the RSCM, will be in attendance.  As it is the eve of Pentecost, an Introit has been composed for the event by Elizabeth Stratford, Director of Music at Arundel Cathedral and works by Stanford will mark the centenary of his death.

Please see the music list below for each singer to download. For those wishing to make a head-start in learning the music, the chosen Anthem is Stanford’s Te Deum in C, Stanford Psalm 150, and Preces and Responses by Joanna Forbes L’Estrange, available from RSCM Publications and also published in God’s Church for God’s World (RSCM 2020).

In addition, if you have received your Gold Award since January 2023 and would like to have it presented during the service, please book a place.

A Parental Consent form must be completed for under 18s and handed in at the event (see link below).
