‘Go ye therefore, and teach all nations’ – RSCM Festival Service at St Paul’s Cathedral

In excess of 200 singers gathered under the Dome of St Paul’s Cathedral to sing Choral Evensong on Saturday 16 March, coming from all corners of London and further afield, for a special RSCM Festival Service.

Under the direction of Andrew Carwood, singers were led through some exciting repertoire for the season of Ascensiontide. The St Paul’s Cathedral organ was played by James Orford and Hamish Wagstaff, accompanying a great celebration of church music and musicians!

Dr Paul Hedley, Deputy Director of the RSCM, was delighted to present eight recent RSCM Gold Award recipients with their Award certificates during the service, celebrating their achievements with their choirs, family and friends.
