14 RSCM Gold Award candidates received their certificates as part of an RSCM Festival Evensong in St Paul’s Cathedral on Saturday 18th May. They added their voices to a massed choir of 250 voices conducted by Andrew Carwood, Director of Music at St Paul’s. The Awards were conferred by the Dean of St Paul’s, the Very Revd Andrew Tremlett. RSCM’s Director, Hugh Morris, said: ‘It was a delight to be able to present this representative group of candidates with their certificates in the service on Saturday, and we offer them, as with all the hundreds of others who take our Singing Awards, our warm congratulations’.
