The last few weeks in the run up to the Jubilee weekend have seen our Platinum Project really take off.

Following the release of the single of In our Service with the Choir of Royal Holloway, the music and the project in general have enjoyed great coverage, with features on Royal and Jubilee music from Classic FM, Classical Music and Gramophone magazines, plus a special broadcast on Scala Radio.

Many church and cathedral choirs sang In our Service in their Platinum Jubilee services, including the choirs of Leicester, Sheffield, Wells, Rochester and Carlisle Cathedrals and the Norwegian Church in London. If you haven’t had a chance to hear it yet do head over to our YouTube channel here where there are several recordings available for you to enjoy at your leisure.

But what is most gratifying is the participation from the many choirs not only in the UK but across the Commonwealth and beyond – in Canada, Uganda, Nigeria, Australia, New Zealand, Japan and the USA – and the enthusiasm with which choirs have embraced the project:

Looking further ahead, we want to ensure that In our Service has meaning beyond the Jubilee, and for this reason the alternative text has a focus on the service of Christ. We hope that choirs will continue to include In our Service in their repertoire and will enjoy singing this uplifting choral anthem for years to come.
