The RSCM is delighted to be partnering with the national choral charity, Sing for Pleasure, to offer a new course aimed at anyone wishing to learn or develop skills in directing church choirs more effectively.

Based on Sing for Pleasure’s established Foundation level technique, the course will teach participants how to prepare music thoroughly, teach music efficiently and give a clear and economical lead in their conducting. Taking place over two consecutive Saturdays, this ‘boot camp’ will give confidence to emerging leaders of sacred music in church and school settings.

The first course takes place in Bolton on Saturday 5 and Saturday 12 October.
