Meet the New RSCM Awards Syllabus Ahead of its introduction in September, Adrian Lucas (RSCM Chief Examiner) will be introducing the new RSCM Awards syllabus for Bronze, Silver and Gold Awards. This free webinar will explore the different elements of the exam, focusing particularly on some of the new features, and offer advice for both choir trainers and candidates in preparing well and maximising the chance of success at each level. It will also introduce the training and practice resources available on Showbie, recently updated for the new syllabus. Working with choirs in a socially-distant space With choirs and groups of singers able to meet once again, the coming months offer both challenges and opportunities. RSCM Director, Hugh Morris, and other panellists, will explore ways to help singers adjust to a different environment, by building confidence, and increasing self-reliance as we stand further apart and sing in smaller groups. We will also look at some ideas for repertoire which could work well in this context. Aimed at choir trainers, but also useful for singers.

Polish up your playing with transferrable skills using The Complete Church Organist: Organ Études Book One This session is aimed at those who are Grade 4 (piano) standard and above, and will explore the techniques and skills encountered in the new Complete Church Organist: Organ Études Book One. Best results will follow if you have a copy of the book (https://www.rscmshop.com/books/N1239/complete-church-organist-organ-%c3%89tudes-book-one), a piano or keyboard to hand (no pedals necessary), and a pencil.

No-one can hear or see you play. You can experiment, and ask written questions.

A. Our live webinars are hosted on Zoom, Click the link provided in the table, this will take you to register for the webinar. Once you have registered, Zoom will send you a link specific to you. Find and click the link shortly before the webinar is scheduled to take place.

Q.  How do I pay for the webinar?

A. Payment for the webinar is taken at registration. This can be found at the joining link given in the table above. Payment is handled by PayPal. You will need to do this before the start of the webinar so that you don't miss the beginning!
