A new name for the Millennium Youth Choir

25 years after the start of the current millennium, the Millennium Youth Choir will be known as the RSCM Youth Choir from January 2025.

Founded in 1999, the RSCM’s Youth Choir is a young, vibrant and forward-looking chamber choir for young singers aged 16-23. With a light but intense annual programme, the choir sings at cathedrals and churches across the country, most recently at Durham, Newcastle and Norwich Cathedrals. The choir sings music of all styles and periods, from plainchant and the music of the Renaissance masters to Herbert Howells and new contemporary compositions.

Individual musical and vocal tuition is a key feature of courses, events and performances, with opportunities for the choir to record and broadcast. The choir works principally with Adrian Lucas but also relishes the opportunity to work with other leading choral musicians from time to time, most recently with Neil Ferris and Daniel Cook.

RSCM Youth Choir offers a fantastic opportunity for young singers to engage at the highest standards with an exciting range of sacred choral music in worship. Find out more here.
