RSCM UK Memberships

The RSCM offers a wide range of benefits to Members, to help you and the other musicians in your worshipping community make the best music possible.

Membership types

Group Memberships

Churches, team ministries/benefices, schools and community choirs are invited to affiliate to the RSCM through Group Membership. This type of Membership is for organisations who wish to play an active part in our work.

If you are applying on behalf of a large parish, a team ministry, or a benefice, you can purchase extra sets of the quarterly magazines or digital access by adding additional Correspondents to your Group application.

A Group Membership provides the following benefits:

  • 1 x A4 size Certificate of Affiliation and Principles document for your church, school or organisation to display
  • 1 x CMQ printed magazine per quarter + digital copy (in addition a digital copy is also available to a 2nd Correspondent)
  • 1 x Sunday by Sunday printed magazine per quarter + digital copy (in addition a digital copy is also available to a 2nd Correspondent)
  • Sunday by Sunday Plus – an intuitive new, interactive way of using Sunday by Sunday to plan your services; and to organise your church music and musicians
  • Invitation to access the RSCM’s moderated discussion forum on Chorally (www.chorally.co)
  • Discounted Voice for Life Digital access
  • Church Musicians Fees Guidance document
  • The Members’ Music Book (a free eBook released periodically of 4-5 chosen pieces for Group Members)

Ways to pay
  • This Guarantee is offered by all banks and building societies that accept instructions to pay Direct Debits.
  • If there are any changes to the amount, date or frequency of your Direct Debit, GC Re RSCM will notify you 3 working days in advance of your account being debited or as otherwise agreed. If you request GC Re RSCM to collect a payment, confirmation of the amount and date will be given to you at the time of the request.
  • If an error is made in the payment of your Direct Debit by GC Re RSCM or your bank or building society you are entitled to a full and immediate refund of the amount paid from your bank or building society.
  • If you receive a refund you are not entitled to, you must pay it back when GC Re RSCM asks you to.
  • You can cancel a Direct Debit at any time by simply contacting your bank or building society. Written confirmation may be required. Please also notify us.

RSCM’s Direct Debit provider is GoCardless (GC).

As an individual you may wish to join the RSCM and play a full and active part in our work.

An Individual Membership provides the following benefits:
