Celebrate Church Music and Musicians
Music Sunday – 14th June 2026

Music Sunday is a wonderful opportunity to celebrate the work, dedication and talents of all those associated with church music and to raise funds for your church and the work of the RSCM. You can do this anyway you like, for example;

  • by reflecting Music Sunday in elements of an existing service,
  • by holding a special service dedicated to Music Sunday,
  • by holding social events.

Why not join us in 2026 by holding a Come & Sing Evensong? Fitting with our theme of community, this is a wonderful way of bringing singers and listeners into the church and can be a useful tool for recruitment to choirs. Choose your own repertoire or make use of the new resource drawn from RSCM Come & Sing Evensong. Click into the box below.

Why join in?
  • Music Sunday is a day for the whole of the RSCM to connect together.
  • It’s a day to share with the wider community – invites groups in, join with another church or go out into the community.
  • Fundraise for your own church and for the RSCM.

Let us know what you are doing for Music Sunday – register your special service or event below no matter how much or little you feel you are doing.

Why participate in Music Sunday?

We love to hear what you are up to so do Register your special service or event here.

We will share details on this page of special events and services.

NB. Music Sunday events are supported by the RSCM but all responsibility for the events and arrangements remain with the church concerned.

What is the 50:50 campaign?

Recognising the financial needs of our churches, we introduced the Music Sunday 50:50 campaign to allow churches to keep half of the profits, donations and/or collections from their Music Sunday event and/or special service.

Please make sure that your audiences and congregations for Music Sunday are clear about what is being sent to the RSCM and what is being retained by the Church.

All donations to the RSCM support us in enabling the flourishing of church music. You can donate via the website, by bank transfer or by sending in a cheque.
